So my PIMO Younger Brother Tried To Kill Himself Today

we all know that this cult will drive those trying to leave to desperate measures, and today by brother was very nearly one of those statistics.

he slashed his thigh with a kitchen knife and was bleeding out until he called the police.. i got a call on my way home from work from a police officer, coincidentally it was one of my old friends from school who's now a cop.

he told me my brother is in hospital after an attempted suicide and has lost some blood but will be ok. but i should get to the hospital as he's asking for me.

I am so sorry, Pale Emperor... my heart goes out to you and your brother. I remember seeing a post lately of you and your bros, how happy you all looked and felt together. Maybe you can share this with your brother? Can you visit him in the mental health ward? Talk about fun, happy times? Talk with his counselor about the depressing/ oppressive situation he is in?

I am so glad you "walked past" the borg guards "who are you" crap! They deserve no acknowledgement! I am sorry for the way your mom treated you too, JWs are possessed (by the BORG)!

Please keep us up to date, and hang in there. No "promise that you made" to anyone has to be kept if they did not keep their end of the bargain!

Why not? Who can check their numbers anyway. They are closing branches, condensing congregations, selling K Halls & property, they already have their cushy retirement home, right?

Remember, we always heard: "Our donations this weekend are below our needs, we need you to donate more for the assembly hall costs" (and they already had met their quota, as they had enough to send $5 - $6,000 to WT land at the end of the day)

If they can reappoint pedophiles, they can make up numbers.

Why the move to Warwick?

i've seen a lot of posts around and about warwick and the goings on there but was curious as to people's theories on why the move to warwick?

granted there's the obvious point about all of the money from the sale of properties in brooklyn but for as massive as warwick is, the purchase of an apartment complex there, multiple sites and buildings i would be surprised if they had much left from all of the profits.

so beyond a financial incentive why move?

Well, well, well..... now we see how it REALLY is... It would be great to have a recording of the one talk (at elders school) played against the other "swear to God testimony" in Australia & elsewhere.

I read the article Careful, and it sounds like scientists are pretty clever, growing crystals, making sure they 'kept it pure', but I am not sure what they will use this 'technology' for? Reversing polarity at the 'flick of a switch'.

thank you DS, and OC, it is quite a tricky thing to put children in foster homes, but where I work, in the medical clinic, I see listings of many foster children. They are not always JWs.

Mothers and fathers can still visit their children, right? and they also have the possibility of being returned to their parents, it is not always a permanent thing.

What about our friend here, BlackWolf? She would benefit from being away from her JW parents, and she would not have the guilt of "breaking up her family" she could 'blame it on the government'.

Of course, any web that gets woven can be tricky, there are always two, three or four sides of a situation to consider. Perhaps this will be the emotional jolt to allow all to start thinking about what WT requires of you.

so my question to them is why have they continually failed to report incidents of child sexual abuse of child members in their congregations to the appropriate authorities ,either police or child protection agency`s, when they are holding judicial committees into these allegations in their congregations when they occur or even some time after ?.

they have consistently failed to do so.. and this failure to do so is not confined to one country ,it is a pattern that is repeated worldwide ,in one country after another country .

if the Watchtower can investigate the child abuse with a committee before they have two Witnesses they can let the police investigate child abuse before there are two witnesses.

Difficult to internalize that all the connections are gone

i was in my old stomping ground a couple of months ago and happened to be walking past the home of an old family friend.

word is in the hall that i used to go to is that "i am one of them" meaning apostate.

no one from my old hall has contacted me to find out what happened.

It is definitely a sad situation, made even harder by what I am sure WT will "promote".. Just like WT did in Malawi, encouraging people to die for the sake of not buying "card."

WT uses and abuses while they live very snuggly in MY in their "castle compound."

Hopefully, WT will soon be exposed for their real selves, and people will drop the WT on their own, and have a real family life, one that does not separate members one from the other.

I am hoping, that just like all of us that have left, the propaganda from WT will have less hold, as they do not have indoctrination meeting after propaganda meeting one after the other, pounding the same tired things into their brains.
